If you like visiting skanzens in this area don´t miss this one. You may find it in a nice area of Brestova. It is a skanzen of Orava villages with beautiful wooden church from 16th century, wooden buildings, a wooden mill or a wooden sawmill. There are plenty of small houses with tiny windows and shingled roofs. The museum is opened all year around and it offers a varied programme especially a meeting with period music or evening excursions. The part of the museum is a zoo as well.
